NEW Homelite 4 point Motor Mounts for 5” stringer spacing.
This 4 point motor mount is
rubber isolated; structural 6061 T6 Aircraft grade aluminum, with stainless
steel fasteners. This mounting system is
for clutched engines and will work with both the older style homelite shrouds and the newer ones like in the photos
(including the new ryobi 30cc homelite
motors). This system positions your
motor as low as possible in your hull for best handling and lowest center of
gravity. Your homelite
motor’s drive shaft will be offset from the centerline of your hull by a
quarter of an inch allowing the homelite to fit
nicely between 5” stringers rather than requiring wider stringer spacing. You make up for this with a little bend in
your flex shaft and stuffing tube. With
this 4 point system, once you have it installed in your boat – you’re just 4
easy to reach bolts away from removing your engine for service. Another advantage of this system is that you
don’t have to remove your radio box to reach the compression fitting as you
would on 3 point mounting systems. Also,
you can remove the original clutch bell cover from your motor making it more
compact and giving you more freedom in positioning your engine. The forward mount has 2 sets of mounting
holes for engine angle flexibility.
